John Bradburne wrote many poems about Mutemwa during his lifetime there in the 1970’s. From them it is possible to recreate a vivid picture of the place, its people, and its setting. The book uses poems to provide a commentary on a selection of archive photographs which vividly capture the special character of Mutemwa then and now.
