Fr Colin Carr, who turned 83 on October 8th, undertook a remarkable challenge to walk 83km in celebration of his 83rd birthday. His goal was to raise funds for the children living at the Mutemwa Leprosy Care Centre, helping to send them to school. Over eight days, Fr Colin completed the impressive feat, walking through the streets of Cambridge. Along the way, he felt the presence of John Bradburne, carrying a piece of John’s Franciscan habit with him as a source of inspiration. His efforts raised an incredible £3,487.00. Both Fr Colin and JBMS express our heartfelt thanks for the generous support and donations received, which will make a meaningful difference to the children of Mutemwa.
